Team Lists

Post by Toby »

The Team Lists were designed before "Big Guys" and "Racial Characteristics" were added to Blood Bowl.
They can't handle additional information.

A. The First Row from LRB1.3 has been scratched. The maximum number of Players for every Position is now recorded seperately from the spreadsheeet. This allows to list 2 diffrent players of the same position and still apply a limit.
B. Player Statistics, Cost, Skills & Traits are left unchanged, Racial Characteristics have been removed.
C. Any reference to a players race has been removed from "Player Position" and added to "Skills & Traits".
The new Item "Player Race" acts as a variable for a given set of "Racial Characteristics".
D. Big Guys that are availiable to the teams are added to their rosters.

You can see that the Undead Teams Linemen are either Zombies or Skeletons, both races share the "Racial Characteristic"
"Regenerate". Wights are the the Undead Teams Blitzers, and Mummies their Blockers. These Races regenerate as well. The only Undead players whos race is unable to regenerate are their Runners, the Ghouls. Undead Teams may field 16 Players, up to 12 of them may be Linemen, 4 Runners, 4 Blitzers and 2 Blockers. There is no Big Guy availiable for Undead Teams.

Sorry i must do a lot of editing to make the thing look better.

Every Star is based on a Rookie. Some changes are in it, but only like 5% if at all. Whats new is the Value and Apearance Fee, you can permanently hire a Star, but must pay his fee (Griff Oberwald 230K/70K)

Well for me I am happy with freebooting stars, what I'm not happy with is their price,
I'd like to see their prices put up or give opponents an advantage like a roll on the handicap table.
For Instance I had Zug hired against me he racked up 4 cas in the match, I lost.He cost 60k free booted,
Another game Chaos,High elves,Moranion was hired and he was the difference, 1 TD, 1 Cas and with dauntless was able to hunt down the chaos Ogre.
In both cases if theyd've cost more they wouldnt have been there. :pissed:

And I thought the tounaments demonstrated that one star mostly does not make the difference. And this with rookie teams. With experienced teams there should even be less influence. :o

And I find them quite expensive, at least the better ones...

At half price the most expensive star is Morg at 95k (cheap) and if you already have a big guy he can make a big impact.
I just see them as too cheap, especially if a player knows what to do with them.
