bounty hunting

hi,

I ve seen on a BB website a league who s using a bounty system. Each team could put bounty on a player and the one who killed him get the money.
I just want to ask if someone know how it really works (do you got to withdraw money from your treasury when you put the bounty or when the player die), and if it can t be abused in the way you put money on the bounty to lower your team rating.

In my league we allow teams to post bounties against their oppositions players 25k a head but it doesn't come out of the treasury until the player is dead so no affecting the TR until that point, also if the cash is due and not available th team that posted it must sell a player/assistant coaches to raise the cash.

We also post bounties of 25k for each player topping the various scoring charts.

It is a good leveller and TBH our coaches think of it as an afterthought at the moment. They concentrate more on winning the game than on targetting various players. Any bounty collected is a bonus.
