My league wants additional Nigglings for stat decreases...

Just want some opinions from you folks:

several members of my league want a house rule that gives every player who suffered a stat decrease also receives a Niggling.

My argument is that a stat decrease is punishment enough and offered to give Nigglings to players who received a stat decrease which has no consequnece (AG loss on a Saui for example.

They claim that:
1) it would be more realistic
2) that all MA reductions and most AG reductions on non-positionals didn't really matter and the player is kept anyway.
3) in the spirit of the SI table, the higher the roll the severe the result, stat reductions should be beefed up with Nigglings as they perceive Nigglings as bigger punishment.

On a side note: I just realized that whenever a serious injury is rolled the suffering coach himself rolls a D66. Strange isn't it? But usually they do roll well

P.S: we play LRB 3.0 and will stick to it, so please no vault arguments here.

If its what your players want to do then go for it. I dont think this change would be unballencing as a lot of Charachteristic losses result in players being fired anyway.

They are also some coaches who don't like the idea. They have the opinion that this would hurt low AV teams more.

I think the teams with the more expensive players that devolp slow will be hurt more by this. But have to say I'm all for it. I like seeing coaches having to replace players, especialy after I kill them.
