Grab modification

Post by sann0638 »

I was thinking of testing out an upgrade to Grab whereby if you block someone with grab you have to follow up on a push (because they've grabbed you!). Think it would have lots of uses on defence.

Thoughts?

Would be very strong on players like mummies who don't want to be pushed away.

But Grab isn't a popular skill right now so maybe that's not a bad thing.

Hi Sann,
as you may know, MBBL is currently testing allowing grab to work on blitzes.
I've heard no complaints so far, and I've got it marked as next skill for one of my players, so I think the boost works.

(Besides, if you want to stay in base-to-base contact, stand firm does that - and only that).

Cheers
Martin

To an extent wouldnt this make standfirm a pretty poor choice?

Update: the Hartlepool family Glynn now has a virgin bath.
