That's.. a lot of Stand Firm. Could be fun to play: will never be fun to play against ;)

This team goes out to all those who complain that Blood Bowl is simply "chess with orcs and elves."

The Chessmen

0-16 Pawns 3 3 3 8 Jump Up G/SAP 40k
0-2 Knights 5 3 4 9 Leap, Block GS/AP 110k
0-2 Rooks 5 4 2 9 Stand Firm, Juggernaut S/GAP 120k
0-2 Bishops 7 3 4 7 Dodge, Side Step A/GSP 100k
0-1 King 2 4 4 9 Block, Dodge, Nerves of Steel GP/ASM 120k
0-1 Queen 8 5 4 8 Wild Animal, Stand Firm, Side Step 150k

Re-rolls- 50k

Dammit Jural, you missed out on alot of potential there  I was envisioning forcing the bishops to only move diagonally (interesting when you have chainpushing) and the pawns could only move forawrd (except blocking, which they can only do diagonally). You could then soup up all the stats so the team had huge amounts of potential but was very restricted in terms of movement.

Update: the Hartlepool family Glynn now has a virgin bath.

Remember guys, we are designing teams for MBBL2 which uses LRB4 rules and not LRB5. Skills like secret weapon dont exist, instead they have penalty rolls. Also teams need to have a racial spell for their on pitch spellcaster.

Heres the rules for onpitch spellcasters
http://www.midgardbb.com/Variants/Spellcasters.html
and lrb4 secret weapons

Yep, and no stars either.

I don't think a team using LRB4 Stand Firm is a good idea either.

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

Yeah, I was torn between doing that and just making a cheesy sub. For example, the Bishop got Side Step because he can only move diagonally!

In the end, I thought the MBBL engine would be unable to duplicate the movement types found in chess, so I went this way. If I'm wrong, I hope someone will tell me so!
