Discuss Fantasy football-style board games - GW's Blood Bowl, Impact!'s Elfball, Privateer Press' Grind, Heresy's Deathball, etc. THIS IS NOT AN NFL FANTASY FOOTBALL SITE!
Dammit Jural, you missed out on alot of potential there I was envisioning forcing the bishops to only move diagonally (interesting when you have chainpushing) and the pawns could only move forawrd (except blocking, which they can only do diagonally). You could then soup up all the stats so the team had huge amounts of potential but was very restricted in terms of movement.

Victim of the Colonel's car boot smash. First person to use Glynn's bath. Update: the Hartlepool family Glynn now has a virgin bath.
Remember guys, we are designing teams for MBBL2 which uses LRB4 rules and not LRB5. Skills like secret weapon dont exist, instead they have penalty rolls. Also teams need to have a racial spell for their on pitch spellcaster.
I don't think a team using LRB4 Stand Firm is a good idea either.

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

Yeah, I was torn between doing that and just making a cheesy sub. For example, the Bishop got Side Step because he can only move diagonally!
In the end, I thought the MBBL engine would be unable to duplicate the movement types found in chess, so I went this way. If I'm wrong, I hope someone will tell me so!
Still trying to get a Undead Chaos team sorted, inspiried by the old Undead Champions fluff from Realm of Chaos.
