I wouldn't drop G access from the linewomen. It just doesn't make sense to me from a fluff pov. Also it doesn't hurt enough since you've got sidestep & dodge for the first two skill ups and few will get much further.

Ian:

Have you thought about the possibility of NoS linos on a Hobgoblin base? Maybe replace the 0-4 Blitzers with two pair of specialists? You could go for blockers, blitzers, berserkers... I'd shy away from Runners to make a passing team.

0-16 Lineman: 6/3/3/7 NOS G 50k
0-2 Thrower: 6/3/3/7 NOS, Pass, SH, Safe Throw GP 80k
0-2 Catcher: 8/2/3/7 DC, Dodge, NOS GA 80k
0-2 Blocker: 6/3/3/8 Block, Fend GS 80k
0-2 Berserker: 7/3/3/7 Dodge, Frenzy, Jump Up, NOS GAS 100k
TRR: 50k

Or
0-2 Blocker: 6/3/3/8 Jump Up, Wrestle GS 80k
0-2 Berserker: 7/3/3/7 Dodge, Frenzy, NOS GAS 90k

What is Nuffle's view? Through a window, two-by-three. He peers through snake eyes.
What is Nuffle's lawn? Inches, squares, and tackle zones: Reddened blades of grass.
What is Nuffle's tree? Risk its trunk, space the branches. Touchdowns are its fruit.

I'm not that interested in adding any positions or reducing the mini mix on current positions. :(

NOS is a useless skill if you don't have the ball so you are really paying a big premium on the line.

The throwers are too skilled. 3 skills should be an absolute maximum - and they've got four really good skills.

NoS catchers & throwers is difficult to balance too. 80k is too cheap for the catchers. I reckon 90k would be a better price and even then I'd be concerned about them being too good.

0-4 Blitzer 7/3/3/8 Jump Up, Wrestle GS 100k. Makes 'em interesting. JU/Wrestle is scary, scary like +AG/Block, which is the same price. She's a better deal than a H/D elf blitzer because of her statline variance from her team and her extra access category (relatively speaking), but that's ok, 'cause the lino sucks.

Agreed. Intended, even.

Agreed. Take off HMP, take 'em to 70k, and that creates a bit of price definition too (the positionals aren't all the same price now). The HMP route is still very available, as there's DC on the team.

Except that the linos a) suck, and b) step on their toes, I'd agree that 80k would be cheap, but I think the problem is that the player is just very difficult to price appropriately. There's an obviously better player out there at 100k as is, losing Dodge and DC and gaining Catch, +ST and +AG. Out of context, I'd call that a problem player. On a team full of NOS Hobgoblins, I'd yawn.
