The Gutter Runner doesn't either, that's if you count them as Runners. I'd like to keep the elves and dwarves with basic lineman stats, keeps it as the flip of the Chaos Pact but there is no easy way to develope a thrower, if you wanted one, on the team like you can on the Chaos Pact :-?

Another problem is that there isn't that much choice in the roster when starting the team, take two elves, two dwarves and the tree and fill out the rest with linemen and your left picking between subs or 4 rerolls.

I'd be more inclined to go with Lawful positionals, if this is supposed to mirror chaos allstars..

Something like:

0-16 Liners: GAP or G / ASP
0-1 Dwarf Blocker
0-1 High Elven Blitzer
0-1 Human Blitzer
0-1 Pro Elf Blitzer
0-1 Halfling
0-1 Tree

.. Or something..

Nah, the Chaos Pact team has linemen not positionals. That would be too good.

I like the 0-2 roster with 6347 elves. You are right that it doesn't offer that much variation, but it contrasts the Pact team in that the players of other races are the attraction, rather than the big guys.

Yeah, without the three big guys it needed something to make it more interesting.

Forgot about Skaven. But like Norse, they also have a dedicated Thrower.

Yeah, you have a good point. Part of what I like about the Chaos Pact is that the Dark Elf and Skaven are just normal linemen though and I'm not sure if I'd want to change from that for the Heroes of Law. The problem that leaves is the Chaos Pact Marauders have Pass and the Crusaders don't and the Marauders having that sort of access seems more appropriate for chaos.

If pass access had to be added, which would be best (bearing in mind keeping the team below tier 1) pass access on the elves, on the crusaders or adding 0-2 human throwers with the same stats as the human teams?

I agree - Zara the Slayer seems like a good fit for this team.
Yeah, your both right. That does fit the team much better.
The problem is that Morg's fluff states he will play for any team that doesn't have Necromancers.

blatant threadromancy, but I'll bite,

Just because it says Morg will play for any team not associated with Undead, that doesn't mean it cannot be a specific fluff piece that he is not desired by the Heroes of Law to play for them. He may well have tried over the years, even going so far as to threaten or try to Bribe, but that is only as he missed the entire point of the team.

They could proudly say "he managed to get himself into the hall of fame whilst still playing, but he will never make it into our locker room"

Yeah, as voyagers_uk said, it's not that Morg isn't willing, it's that the Heroes of Law don't want to hire him. Which might be stupid of them but then if they were smart they wouldn't be playing Blood Bowl :P
