G access Goblins

Anyone tried giving Goblins access to G skills on a normal roll? Or would that make them too good? Dirty Player should be a racial trait, surely!

Too good. Blodge stunty swarm, and/or cheap DP swarm would be unbearable.

They still wouldn't hold a candle to amazon. IMO.

I'm not convinced there'd be anything remotely broken about G-goblins, but it'd certainly be a big improvement.

I agree, 60 Tv for a blodge goblin is nothing special when a blodge amazon linewoman is 70TV. That extra 10TV gets you +ST compared to right stuff, agility access and the benefits and drawbacks of stunty.

One a one a blodge goblin is certainly not very impressive. But general-acces will open up the team to many new stunty-plays with skill like wrestle, dauntless, stripball, frenzy, dirty player, and guard being the gotoskill on the double. Goblins will take their annoyance to a whole new level.

Maybe not enough to bring them up to amazon-class, but if the goblinplayer is ready to play the dice i imagine a lot of games where the goblins will win whatever the opponent does, and the odds greatly depending on if the opponent has the right counterskills. But thats just a guess, i would have testplayed a few games to see how it feels.

Potentially a boost for Orc teams, who could use a wrestle strip ball stunty cage breaker (with a short lifespan) or a few sneaky cheap DPs

I guess that Orcs wouldn't still use Goblins, even with G access;
anyway, a Goblin team with G access wouldn't be too strong, in my opinion.

in tourney, we could see some coachs orcs playing without linemen (so with gobelins).
