We've always used the following raise the dead rules in our league. Anyone using something similar?
Now that they get 4 wights undead teams might get too many good players, but so far this rule has only made the game more fun and has not shown any dramatic problems - after all, to get a good zombie player, one has to kill a player first and then resurrect him.
Every living position player has a zombie version of it, which has -2MA, -1AG and no skills retained except physical abilities and racial characteristics, + gets regenerate:
eg.
Code: Select all
Gutter Runner zombie 7 2 3 7 Regenerate
Dwarf Longbeard zombie: 2 3 1 9 Thick Skull Regenerate
High elf zombie 4 3 3 8 Regenerate
So, in the hypothetical case that dwarves could get mutations, a 4-skill dwarf longbeard with +1AG, Horns, Dodge, Diving Tackle, 1xNI, Magic helmet:
Code: Select all
Longbeard 4 3 3 10 Block Tackle TS, Dodge, Horns, Diving Tackle, NI, Mag.helm
after being killed and raised would become
Longbeard zombie 2 3 2 10 Thick Skull, Horns, NI, Mag.helm, Regenerate
Real fun, especially to see your old players being fielded against you as zombies

Halfling zombies (3 2 2 6 Stunty, Right Stuff, Regenerate) are really mean

We had a TTM mummy on a team with a halfling zombie...
