An Ogre team that fits with the team miniatures

I remember when I looked at the first pictures of the Ogre team (was it 2003?) and thought "Oh cool positional ogres! but that turned out to be wrong so I've suffered quietly until now. The team is of course supposed to be weaker than normal teams but I want it to be fittingly bad.

0-10 Lineogres Ma5 S5 Ag2 Av9 Mighty blow, Really stupid and thick skull. Access to strength skills. Cost 110 000gp

0-2 Ogre throwers Ma5 S5 Ag2 Av9 Mightly blow, bone head, thick skull and strong arm. Access to strength and passing skills. Cost 130 000gp

0-2 Ogre catchers Ma5 S5 Ag2 Av9 Mighty blow, bone head, thick skull, catch and sure feet. Access to Strength skills. Cost 130 000gp

0-2 Ogre blitzers Ma5 S5 Ag2 Av9 Mighty blow, bone head, thick skull and break tackle. Access to strength skills. Cost 140 000gp

0-6 Halflings as per usual

Rerolls 70k each.

I have always considered the bloodbowl playing Ogres to be Imperial ogres whso the stunties bullied into playing with them should be halflings rather than goblins. The positionals shouldn't make much more difference than that stunty throwing becomes slightly easier due to throwers. The blitzers add some extra strength in the first few games due to break tackle but the Really stupid on the lineogres (to reflect that any good ogres are transfered to "real" bloodbowl teams) means that the team becomes worse in the long term since really stupid means that the lineogres can't be left alone.

We tried to make an Ogre roster here on TBB, which included RS linemen and BH Throwers (can't remember if we had Blitzers) but it was rejected because JJ didn't want 2 different stat lines for one figure. :(
Shame, as it looked a much more interesting team than the one we have now.

And the Ogre team must contain Goblins, because that what the throwing figure is throwing.

I put it in the house rules simply becuase I don't have any hope of appeasing any official rulesmaker with the rules. The Vault and JJs wish for simplicity (when it suits him) have kinda killed my intrest in official bloodbowl rules (unless it's on fumbbl).

Think more big guy sub types would be a lot more fun.. ...just think of it: Treeman gutter runner called 'poison ivy', Minotaur catcher called 'spike' as he catches but bursts ball on his horns all the time, Troll wardancer called 'stomp'...he doesn't leap just hops & flattens those in his way.

Any more for any more? :P

Really, its a shame that we will never see that team...

Although RS on a lot of Players really hurt, a sRS players cant assist other RS players... (at least in LRB, vault mabe different).
