Making sidestep general would make it too good. Same too Sure Feet. It is good that blitzers can only take it on doubles (making other skills more viable).

IMO these 2 skills rely more on natural agility than catch or sprint.
just try getting someone to charge into you and then once they hit you try to step aside without falling over it aint that easy

Neither. Sure Feet is a classic skill, and Grab (=Sideswipe) hasn't been tested enough to know.

No, no and no (which ever Sideswipe turns out to be). None of these need to be 'easy access skills' for the masses.
