Making Very Long Legs a strength skill?
What would you think if very long legs was made a strength skill? Meaning to have more muscular legs and the ability to jump higher than others. Could be renamed to springiness or so. The skill would stay the same but elves could get it on a double. Also the more bashy teams like Norse or Orcs with AG 3 could try for an interception on a 5+ (without the agility of 4) Would make intercepting the ball a tactic seen more often.
Thoughts?
edit: Could this be moved to the new concepts section?

Just had the idea after I saw the Bog Trog Ambushers and they definitely have no long legs.

I like it too, Would be easy enough to add a new skill (strong legs, or something to that effect) Only problem then is what does very long legs do? changing it would likely piss people off (considering that it's been changed once already)

Very long legs would be replaced with this skill.
This wouldn't be much of a change. Only thing is that more teams would have access to it. For Chaos for example it makes no difference if it's a mutation or a strength skill.

I like this idea and this makes good game balance and a useful skill.
As the players with STR access are not that fast usually they will have less chance of it becoming a broken skill in comparison to the 1TD WE & GR combos!

It would be pretty easy for the skill to be Very Long/Strong LegsFather911 wrote:I like it too, Would be easy enough to add a new skill (strong legs, or something to that effect) Only problem then is what does very long legs do? changing it would likely piss people off (considering that it's been changed once already)
I'm really thinking out loud ... honestly ... I think this falls into the category of minor changes that I promised the BBRC I would try to avoid making for the Rules Review this year to create the experimental rules for official testing leading to LRB 6.0 in November 2008.

LRB5 VLLs cancels safe throw and adds 1 to leap rolls and interceptions. It doesn't boost MA anymore.Snew wrote:I'm thinking you guys are trying to make all mutations worth less. The last thing elves need is +1MV as another option.
VLL is one of my favorite things EVER! but I don't want to see/face it all the time.
