lizardman experiment

I Was thinking about lizardmen today, and suddenly a funny thought occured to me, which I might like to test out sometime. What if skinks lost dodge, and saurii gained break tackle at creation? it undoubtedly change the team a lot, and my first thought would be that the team would be too powerful on the whole, but it's an interesting thought nonetheless.

I think I might try it out in a week or two, I have a friend who'd help me test this strange take on the lizardman team.

Anyone have thoughts?[/img]

I think that the problem you're gonna get with that is that the team will lack ballcarriers. Sure the Saurus will move more than before, but with AG1 you can't really use that to score. And your skinks will get squished without dodge...

Well, the sauri would go to 90k and the skinks to 50k, right?

It would be interesting, but I suspect the skinks would die off in droves. But what if the skinks lost stunty? 8 2 3 7 GA/SP 50k is not an awful piece. I suspect in that case Lizardmen would start like Chaos, but once the sauri got block and mighty blow, the skinks would begin to survive, and the team would become much better than before.

With 8 MA, the tackle zone benefits of stunty aren't as necessary as they are with the fling team and goblins, so it might not be so bad.

Definitely worth a shot as a house rule, if only to see what happened to the team.
