In my league we rarely see any fouls, we can go whole seasons without a single foul, so that made "Kick off table: Get the ref" quite obsolete, so for our upcoming season im pondering on how to exchange tha tresult for some thing else, and this is what ive got so far:

2: Rival teams. During the rest of this half, each team may perform an additional blitz-action in each of their turns. After the additional blitz-action has been taken, roll a D6 and add FAME. on a modified roll of 1 - 5, the moving team suffers a turnover. This roll cannot be rerolled.

anyone have any ideas how this would work, should i change anything ??

So the team without any FAME turns over 5 times in 6? And a coach with +2 FAME would turn over on a 1-3? Either going to be pointless or game breaking IMO, depending on the FAME roll.

An easier solution: take the caveats off the Cas column, so that fouls and crowd-pushes are worth SPP. I think it's best also to do so with Stab and even SWs, as only Goblins can have a Chainsaw or Bombs player actually on the roster (as opposed to induced as a star).

I would change it to:

1) Turnover on either a 2+
2) On their first turn of the drive, both teams may declare two blitzes (or d3 blitzes...)
3) Turnover on a 4+, you can add FAME to the roll.

I like 1) best, it would be wild and crazy... which is excellent!

rename it to something else though as wouldnt take them a couple of drives (which it could do obviously with kick off table) to figure out they rival teams

Start fouling. Catch you opponents by surprise.

You may just start a trend.

Then there is not need to change the kick off table.

I'm not to fond of the OP's houserule, but I wouldn't mind seeing a kickoffresult tahat would yield +1 blitz for either team...
