Hi all,
Right. In the first poll between 4 statlines, the winner did not take more than 50%, so to do this fairly, I've narrowed it down to the final 2.

So - keeping in mind that this is a house rule for leagues that want to nerf dwarfs, what should the lineman be like on this roster:
0-2 80K runners 6338 GP thick skull, sure hands
0-2 90K slayers 5328 GS thick skull, juggernaut, frenzy, dauntless
0-2 80K blitzers 5339 GS thick skull, block
0-2 70K blockers 4329 GS thick skull, block, tackle
0-16 Linemen ???
0-1 Deathroller as normal

Since there is only 2 blockers, I voted the 60k linedwarf. 4 blockers would mean the 50k linedwarf for me.

That would more likely be a buff than a nerf. since you could have a cheep bench and 11 great players.

That being said I dont like the nerf at all. Removing mass tackle has consequences for many other teams than dwarfs. That is a dangerous thing to mess with. Maby it would actually be ok that amazons got stronger, but many people consider the zons to be stronger than I do, but what about all those blodging elfs and the like?

I woted for the 60 k, block players since it was most dwarfish and I dont like the idea of cheep players on the dwarf team.

See, you're not the first one to say that, but I'm not sure that's true.
Early on, elfs don't dominate (except wood elfs, *cough*broken*cough*, naturally).
And later on there will have been plenty of time for everyone to develop some tackle.

But - more importantly - there are lots of leagues out there without a dwarf team in it, and I've never heard anything about dodgy teams dominating those leagues.

In fact, if that were true, we need an overhaul of the game.

I do think it matters in tournaments though. If it wasnt for WEs, Lizards would be the most horribly broken tounament team ever.

But since this mostly is about league play Il give in, and try to hold back my conservatism.

Looks fairly conclusive already.
