Galak's LRB7 test rules coming to FUMMBL
Sorry if this is in the wrong forum, house rules seemed the best fit. Just a heads up that the LRB7 test rules Galak proposed on the Cyanide site are coming to the new CRP/LRB6 leagues on FUMMBL.
These changes look really good overall and I'm sure will get used quite a bit. Thanks to Galak, the BBRC, and those who dreamt them up.

The roster altering suggestions are not listed. I 'think' that the idea for leagues is that eventually they can modify rosters, but for now, I don't think so. So likely just the four skill modifications listed so far.Joemanji wrote:Gah, not the Human roster changes then?
The roster changes will probably come to make Stunty Leeg possible again with the new client. That is just imo of course.

I'm glad they're going to be optional rules on Fumbbl.

My only request would be:
Bring back oi ref. 6+ avoids sending off. Maybe say who ever haves fame gets +1 (just thought that up). And on a 1 means the Coach is ejected, no more arguing calls, no bribes and no intimidations from get the ref.
Apothecary back to the 3rd ed rules, maybe used after the game to heal on a 2+.
Off set by nominated MVP.
1. position players cannot get MVP for doing their job
2. players who score, cause casulties...
3. players who perform really well, really hassle the opposition etc
4. any player that scores 3 TDs or 3 Cas in a game.
5. players who use a skill with great effect.
Nominate 2 or more players and your opponent chooses what they thought was most effective.

Yup the Human changes and custom roster stuff will come later because these are not changes to the client these are site changes that only Christer can make. The good news is Kalimar has created the client in such a way that all rosters will be accepted no matter how crazy as long as the skills and stats are all in the current rules.
There will also be more optional rules for leagues on the site once everything is complete. Looking forward to playing with some Squigs or the Deamon team on fumbbl. It would be great

Re: Galak's LRB7 test rules coming to FUMMBL
I've no doubt there will be a whole bunch of requests for optional league rules as the months go by. We should get some really cool stuff.
I do wonder what leagues will run any of them; there might have to be a dedicated test league set up. Although, with no actual rule tweaks on the horizon, I do wonder who'll participate, and how many games will get played under test rules.
Still, brilliant stuff [L] is getting some love. Garion, you can play Squigs already, it's called [S]tunty! I look forward to the [S] LRB6 reboot!

I'd like to have seen the Necromantic Flesh Golems get a 10K price drop which I believe was being considered at one time.

Re: Galak's LRB7 test rules coming to FUMMBL
It was playtested in the LRB6 experimental rules and it seemed that Necros got a bit too much of a boost from it, so it was dropped. I haven't seen anything since to really suggest Necros need it.duttydave wrote:I'd like to have seen the Necromantic Flesh Golems get a 10K price drop which I believe was being considered at one time.

Re: Galak's LRB7 test rules coming to FUMMBL
There isn't much need to drop them 10k, necros still perform very very well in LRB6 even though they are over priced. Possibly dropping them 10k and adding 10k to the werewolves may have been another way of going about it although then they would have been crazy expensive.
But either way they appear to be performing as a tier 1 team from most of the spurious statistical data scattererd about the web.
I'm really looking forward to that too. I hope it gets the love it deserves.

Hello,
I have searched about the Av+1 on foul and I have not found anything.
Could anyone explain this test rule, please? (and how it's working with dirty player, for example)
Thanks.
