Played a lot of BIG green with all the tricks to get the big guy out quick.

Anyway, since you guys went this way, my BB collection was funded by selling all my Magic cards .. In fact, I still collect the pre-constructed decks for Magic just to have decks around.

I check one deck from my Magic collection that was my favorite to play in big (like 8+ player) games.

The Swarm (the entire deck is black bordered):

Creatures:
4 Vesuvan Doppelganger
4 Tetravus
2 Clone
3 Hell's Caretaker
1 Time Elemental
1 Khabal Ghoul
1 Triscilon

Spells:
1 Ancestral Recall
2 Boomerang
1 Gate to Phyrexia
2 Ritual of the Machine
1 Drafna's Restoration
2 Dark Ritual
1 Demonic Tutor
4 Mana Drain
1 Abyss

Artifacts:
2 Kry Shield
1 Life Chisel
1 Sol Ring
1 Mox Diamond

Land:
4 Mishra's Factories (all 4 seasons)
1 Volrath's Stronghold
5 Island
5 Swamp
4 Rootwater Depths
4 Underground River
3 Underground Sea

62 cards ... anyway ... I always had fun playing this deck as it was filled with all sorts of combos:
The objective play the Tetravus. Yank the 3 counters off him and then kill or return him to cycle him.

Hell's Caretakers, Boomerang, Time Elemental, Volrath's Stronghold, Ritual of the Machine, Life Chisel, and Drafna's Restoration all worked together to recycle.

The 2 Kry Shield were the life cyclers ... for 2 mana I could turn a stripped Tetravus into a 1/7 creature to feed to the chisel for 7 life. Then you tapped the Hell's Caretakers to bring the Tetravus back from the graveyard into play by sacrificing a wasp, and then strip the new Tetravus of its wasp. With 2 Kry Shield in full motion with the Chisel, this play would get me 14 life and four 1/1 fliers for 4 mana every upkeep ...not a bad deal ... :D

If the Khabal Ghoul was in play the above play gave him two +1/+1 counters every turn also. The Ritual of the Machines meant I could steal Shivans and such for the price of a wasp.

The Abyss I take out if the crowd is just beer and pretzels as its a serious screw job to the others. Every turn sac a creatue unless its an artifact and the vast majority of my creatures where artifacts and they flew.

This deck is one of my last goodies from my Magic days. The Ancestral Recall is one I pulled out of a Beta pack and it has been in plastic since about 30 seconds after I received. Someday, I'm sure I'll play it again ... I hope so .. for now it just a memory saver.
