Looking for a few good coaches.....

Post by Rustycan »

Ok I have been playing Blood Bowl for about 6 years now and enjoy it muchly. So what I am looking for people in the Edmonton Alberta, Canada area for getting a regular league started. I know this is a long shot, but hey, if you are in the is area, or know someone who is then by all means let me know! I would like to meet some new coaches to play against. Thanks,

Rustycan.

I am in Red Deer, which isn't really in the Edmonchuck area, and I am a Stamps fan so you probably wouldn't want to have a game with me. :D

Hmmmmm.... Didnt the Esks beat the Stampeders on their own field 28-20 and then rammed the football down the Stamps throats 45-11?? And you still a Stamp fan!!¿¿ Just kidding! Is there a large group of BB players in good ole Red Deer??

Unfortunatly, it's hard to find anyone these days. There were a number of BB players a few years ago when they re-released the 3ed box set, but interest in BB seems to have all but disappeared here. I usually play when I can comvince my brother or a couple of friends to have me a game, which doesn't happen all that often. BTW, Stamps with kick Esks butt in West play offs just like last year!

That's if the Stamps get into the Western playoffs. Personally, i wouldn't be surprised if they were in the Eastern final this year!

I dont even think the stamps will make it in the crossover! They may get a bit lucky with Sanke back but we will see!! The esks will be in the Grey Cup this year, in Edmonton!! And I will be on the 40 yard line row 17 cheering and swiging beer like a Norseman!!! GO ESKS GO!!!

Don't count on the Esks being in the Grey Cup. The last time the hosting team made it was back in '94 when BC beat Baltimore. I will have to reluctantly agree with Dragonkin that the Stamps have a better chance to make the East play offs in the crossover (but who knows). Anyway, we all know that the Al's with take the Cup this year, which wouldn't bother me since Montreal hasn't won since '77.
