Orc vs Ogres tips needed
Ok, so I have a match coming up where the ogre team is:
TV1710
6x guard (all of them)
4x block
2x break takle
16 players
4RR
My orcs are
TV1450
Blitzers
2x MB, 2x Guard, 2x takle
BoB
2x Block, 1x guard
Lineman with DP
11 players+troll/gobbo
3 RR
Cannot use wizards, star players or cards. How the hell do I play this? Only thing I can think of:
Drop a RR, pay 80k from treasury
Get Chef+Bribe
And hope for a good chef and lots of bone-head.
Any other ideas?

Put your worst three players on the line and everyone else hides.

Should be an easy game for you. Use your MB and Tackle Blitzers to pick off snotlings. If all he has is 6 ogres on the pitch, he probably won't score.
4 BoB vs 4 non-BT ogres. It will keep them busy. Won't get 3 dice often, won't break 9 armor often.
That really only leaves you having to worry about 2 players.
Chef not reliable enough against them having 4 RR.
Since you have a DP I assume you play decently with bribes.
Take 2 bribes and a babe.
You should outnumber him really quick by blitzing snotlings. Then use your extra players to assist the fouls when you get an ogre down. Preferably to take out the BT ogres.
You listed 6 skills on 4 blitzers. If any are Tackle AND MB, protect those players from the ogres. These will be your most important players of the game for taking out snotlings.

Thanks for the reply. Couple of questions
- Would you start receiving instead of kicking, then?
- score (if given the chance) fairly quickly to kill more snotlings? The team has 10 snotlings, so even if I injure all in the first half, he will still have a full team for the second half.

I would receive. Don't score quick. Drag it out. When you are up players is when you can kick the fouling into high gear to get the ogres off.
Remember to keep your cage loose. A 5 ST Break Tackle only needs one 4+ to walk into a normal cage.
Also, never put your ball carrier on the sideline, even if he looks protected. Stunty and Break Tackle can wreck your day.

Well, pulled off a 2-0 win and the advice here was very helpful, so thanks! Only lost a BOB and the Chef did actually help quite a bit in the first half. Was pretty lucky with rolling, I gotta say, but that happens sometimes

Great job on your win. Still funny to me to see a score of "2-0" and knowing that in Blood Bowl, that's actually a major victory!
I once played an 8 hour game with a friend. We went into overtime, but I ended up winning. I felt like I had just come in first place in a marathon. My ex asked what the final score was and I proudly exclaimed "1 to 0!".
Her "ONE to ZERO???! Only one point after all that time?!".
I tried to explain, but yea, you know how that goes.

Haha, true. Many times things are decided by a single roll so given a different result a 2-0 match could easily have been 0-2.
