Which is the hardest team to coach?

I am playing Gobbo at the time. but for the new season, i will surely comeback to my first love: HE.
I tryed all races and exept gobbo and halfling, there is no weak team.
As thadrin said it: this is (for all team) a mind play.
I dont like playing some race but i know that there are good.
Even Gobbo and halfling in Newbie teams . After TR150 they become less and less competitive. But for all team you have to catch the spirit of their way to play. (my favs teams are HE and Skavens).

I believe that a team is tough to coach if it requires you to have the right player in the right position to make the right play. If a team has players that are easily caught out of position, then it's tough to coach.

By that definition, I believe Lizardmen are the toughest team to coach. You can't really blitz with Skinks, your Sauruses can find themselves locked up all day long, etc.

By contrast, I think every other team is a walk in the park because one player is generally as good as any other. And I find Chaos extremely easy to coach because (a) Chaos Warriors are generally there to hit someone, (b) AG3 across the board means you don't worry about finding the right player to pick up the ball, and (c) Horns gives you plenty of flexibility in terms of blitzing.

My two cents, anyway.

I wasn't expecting a clear answer. I was just looking for opinions - I was also curious if there were any consenus on "hard" teams to coach.

Also its the flipside to the common question about what are easy teams to coach (esp for newbies).

I agree, there's no clear answer. It all depends on learning the right playing style for the team. In Christer's FUMBBL league, I started out with Dwarfs, and did well because I understood how to play them. Once our Open division began, I took Wood Elves, which are the totally opposite style of play. I've managed to adjust quite well to the new style, and I'm improving all the time. One thing though; if I pick a team to do a particular job i.e. pass, or bash, I like to take a team that's good at it; it's difficult to develop an 'all-round' game effectively, as it means they'll be good at neither passing nor bashing.

As for Lizards, I think they're excellent; they're simply a completely different style of play.

I think Amazons are the easiest side to coach, as all that Dodge and having Blodge Blitzers is forgiving to tactical mistakes.
