If they're standing in front, behind or to either side of it then yes.

Unless you have the scatter template BB2016 orientation, in which case they need to be diagonally from you.

Anyway, Milo is of course winding you up. Firing 4 shots at once is clearly mental!
It simply fires 3 shots up to a range of 6 squares. Each one is a Block dice. You can target one model or 2 or 3 in adjacent squares, splitting the dice as you choose. Skulls and Both Downs are jams and you lose that many shots next turn.

You forgot to mention that you get to actually THROW the three Block dice at the models, and if you knock them down, they have to take armor and injury rolls. That's my favorite part.
