Great Team Names

I really liked my Chaos team: The Baby Eaters. My Dark Elf team is currently shopping for a name, so far I have The Cruel Talons of Death and Khaine's Knives, but nothing jumps out at me.

Any suggestions?

Halflings - Tumblehill Titans
Undead- Gridiron Ghastlies (working name, not in concrete)

My favorite name though is this ork team's in our league, The Brute Trupe.

Surely the best names for most teams are the ones which have a place name as the starting point? Look at football teams or any other sport for that matter, they mainly start with their city of origin. So go with a city name from the WH world or make one up. Laters DD.

We got a couple of good ones in our League. My team is the Schwarzwald Beer Gutters; we also have the Orkish Bisons; Honor's COde (Human); Elven Eleven (High Elf); the Dwarven Kings; the Skavenic Evil and the Dark Elf team dedicated to the male stars of XXX films, the Dark Porn Superstars. Getting a$$-kicked by this team takes a slightly different meaning...

My friend Steve has a chaos team called the "Cereal Killers", and all the players are cartoon cereal mascots. Like Cap'n Crunch, and Lucky the Leprechaun, Trix Rabbit, etc.

My Chaos Dwarf team is called the Prison Rodeo . The hobbos are painted with black an white striped clothes with the number painted on the back(the inmates) and the CDs(the wardens) and Bull Centaurs(the patrol guys) are blue and black. Plus theres the Mino who takes the bull's position. Now I just wish they'd bring back weapons or let me take a freebooter fanatic to round out the image

What do you mean exactly, Mestari ? Using native language names ? (ie finnsih names for you, french ones for me, ...). THat's what I've made with my Girondins de Bordeleaux (in fact, the name in "life" is Girondins de Bordeaux, a french soccer team).

Have noticed that it strongly depends on the edition of Blood Bowl ? For example, 2nd edition in France was really under "NL influence": they kept english nmaes, and tried to make the team the more NFLable possible, whereas when the 3rd edition came, "Evil Gits" became "Les Sales Frappes", and trnaslate the more they could players names (Varag Machegoule, Zug la bête, ...). Hopefully, they kept the most famous tema as they are (Darkside Cowboys, Dwarfs Warhammerers, ...).
