Hi, I'm new and guess this is the right forum!
How many of you paint your team in the colour of your favourite NFL or football kits?
I currently have a human team painted in the colours of Stevenage Borough (Middenheim Borough) and I wondered if any of you paint the figs in the same way.

i did my 2e plastic elves up in west ham colors back when they were my main team, i also had an undead team i called "ashen villa" that i did in purple and blue...
i've never actually finished a team based on an nfl scheme... i've got some orcs around that are painted up like the dallas cowboys (da runt'erdz), but being a houstonian, i just couldn't stomache putting those stars on another mini no matter how good the pun was... and i started teh seemingly obligatory skaven team in poackers colors too...

I have a half finished Washington Deadskins... with torn zombie uniforms and such.
When we get them finished up, we should have a grudge match Lucien.

...if we do it by pbem, we'd only have to paint 4 players
i've had every intention of doing a pirate-themed human team based on charactatures of the buccaneers for a few years now, but between the massive amount of work involved and the fact that i don't particularly like playing humans, it's just never come up...

I had an Undead painted up as the New York Giants. I couldn't think of a good Giants type name so they just got called Knights of Nagash.
So we have Cowboys, Redskins and Giants...
Eagles anyone?

I did up my dwarves in Rams colors. This was sort of by accident though. Gold helmets and armour, dark blue tunics. I didn't intend to do it, just sort of turned out that way. I think I'd have used the Wood Elfs if I wanted to do a Rams theme.

I found this by trying to find a website where all the NFL teams colours schemes should be viewed without 3423 cliks:
http://www.cjsm.com/Vol3/allegos32.htm
An interesting article on colour, and their influence and meaning... I didn't read all the article, but it seems a good one. Not written for an heroic fantasy use (even if they talk inside about Ziggurats

), but should be useful.
BTW, is anyone should give me the good words for a search with google, in order to find NFL colour schemes on one webpage ? THe main difficulty for me is I don't know how the shirts, pads, etc... is called in english (If I ask for "Nfl" "shirts", I have a lot of online shops...).
Thads gave me some times ago a very good link including all the helmets (a good source of inspiration for team logos, btw), but I would be very happy if I could find what described below.

Billericay Town and the Browns eh? Sympathies.
I happen to follow the Steelers as well as the Shots.
Speaking of which, we're down your gaff March 15, and your boys are at ours Nov. 9th. We'll be giving George a nice 'warm' reception. See you there.

Yo DW, weve moved to Basildon! The local council wouldn't give us permission to expand the Stadium. Next season should see a double over your thuggites and don't forget you kicked Georgie boy out didn't you? Laters DD.
P.S as for the Steelers, next season is pay back time, yeah baby I'm drooling!
