Hi guys,
I'm trying to work out the games for a tourney I'm doing and I need a random game generator that can handle 6 teams over 4 games (obviously each team will miss out playing 1 other team). Karegon wrote one but I can't find it! Anyone else got one?
Cheers

Why not just put all team names in a hat and draw the rounds one at a time.
Or if you want a swiss style use Christers programe that should handle it(I think)

Draw a number each out of a hat then atttribute accordingly for 4 rounds
1 vs 4
2 vs 5
3 vs 6
6 vs 1
4 vs 2
5 vs 3
1 vs 2
3 vs 4
5 vs 6
1 vs 3
2 vs 6
4 vs 5

Sure does. It also handles round-robin, open, cup, double-knockout, open and random styles.
For this kind of schedule, you could make a round-robin style league, generate the schedule and only use the 4 first rounds (a full round-robin with 6 teams will take 5 rounds).
I could probably make a "partial round-robin" style as well if there is demand for it..

Good enough for a kick about in the park, but I think
christer should get a big pat on the back for writing that programe. Top job!

Karegon: Yeah, that's the one I couldn't find you muppet! Searched high and low.....
Oh yeah, where's your bleedin' roster then? I'm only at work for a half-day tomorrow and I need to print everything out then.
