8/4/3/7 Catch, Frenzy, RSC 110k G/A

EH GADS!!!! JJ what is this thing that you have created!

The 2nd edition Were's stats are fine and we've been testing them for over a year with NO ONE screaming they are out of line.

Creating some good awful Wardancer for the Were is just a freaking joke. Note to self ... look at team building rules ... oh yeah ... look ... never mix RSC, Claw, or Block on a roster player with ST 4+.

And then you give this guy AG ACCESS???!!!!! Since the MBBL is LRB + experimental I have to allow the team .... but don't be surprised if I add a line of code to the PBeM tool that says ... if Position=Werewolf then NewD6 roll = D6 roll -2 .... if NewD6 roll<1 then NewD6=1.

This player is a complete waste of the time, energy, and ink used to create him. I'm so glad that the history of the game and past discussion on this topic is so useless for these types of exercises.

I've seen two suggestions for the were over the last 6 months that had merit:

6/3/3/7 Frenzy, Razor Sharp Fangs G/S (Chet's proposal)
7/4/2/8 Mighty Blow, Break Tackle, Frenzy G/S (this was the stats of the were from 2nd edition)

The version published is a joke with a punchline that I must of missed.

seriously though not having read the piece, he does seem a trifle powerful and cheap when compared to say a witch elf...

may have to consider them for a team in the local league, although I will actually pass that to another guy who is a bit disillusioned at the mo.

Normally i would be inclined to agree with you Tom but there is only 1 on the roster. Allso they have lost the acces to Mummies and instead they got fleshgolems. oh and its a mistake about ST4 in my mag its a st 3.

Heres the team for you.

0-12 Zombie Standard nothing new.

0-4 ghouls Standard nothing new.

0-4 Wights Standard nothing new.

0-2 Fleshgolems 4 4 2 9 Standfirm. Breacktackle. Thick skull.
120 K G+ST acces

0-1 Werewolf 8 3 3 7 Catch. Frenzy Razor sharp fangs.
110 k. G+A acces.
Rerolls 70 k.

So 7 probable starters with no regen and no apoth.... Ouch! None of them start with Block and 5 have av 7. Yikes. Most Coaches tend to say "Ghouls break easy".... I always tend to take Block first up with them for this reason. But now you have a 5th av7 player without Block or Dodge... sure he could be very useful on blitz but make sure he gets the hell out after!

Sure the 2 Flesh Golems add some muscle and with Break Tackle and Stand Firm they will be a right pain and can move around to help the vulnerable ones.

This new team against Dwarves (or CDs) is going to suffer big time....

M+1, AV-1, remove catch... then it's wihelm chaney... This one costs 140 k. A mistake I hope.

To be frank, I would appreciate they may add a vampire lord instead of this werewolf (sound marketing plan for me: a stock o wihelm chaney minis to sell ? :roll: ).

Are you sur that there is 4 Wights ???

I think that i see there are just 2 of them.
I agree with Dangerous Dave, this team have a lot of Av7 and without Regeneration and Apo (except Zombies and Wights), it will be really hard to play vs Dwarf or Orks.

Guys i'm happy that Undead teams have changed (and remove from their list the mummies which according to the WH world can't belong to this team).

The team seem less strong, that's good cos it the background only Champion of Death have won the BB.

However, in some tournaments (Amsterdam :oops: ) Undead teams are the best teams (perhaps with the best coachs :) ) so this is a good way to balance the game.

The Champions of Death in my mind are a Khemri team, after all they've got Mummies Undead now don't.

This move was predicted with the Mummies moving from the Undead roster back a while ago. Personnally this is a time where i am actually disappointed that i was right. Undead have already suffered enough in the rule transistion from 3rd to 4th and this i think is a real crap decision, just to get the sales of the old Frank N stein and Cheney figures back.

Hell what am i going to do with my Mummies now, as they don't even fit in with the Khemri team look. I for one am disappointed.

And lets have new fig for them not the old second edition leftovers

Wait a minute !!!!

Do you say that now that there is the new Khemri team, you couldn't play the classic Undead Team.

But that is a piece of shit, i've just buy an undead team to the Vpc.

Like Mc Deth say, the undead suffer from 3rd to 4th editions. They loose Regeneration ( 2+ to 4+) and the possibility to have the Vampire Drakenborg.

And now, what ??? we loose mummies to have the silly werewolve !!!
what a shame !!! i don't understand why there is a werewolve in this team

I agree, Champions of the death are Khemri but they have been presented as Undead team.

In second edition, the only one undead team are skeleton team (Khemri), but werewolves exists too in second edition so why not.
