Khemri Verdict?
Besides those who find the fluff lame (it sits well with me), does anyone actually have any thoughts/experience on the team given in BBMag#3? I'm just curious as to how balanced it is, what with some of the other more recent teams being questioned (Lizzy's, Necro undead).
Curious, 'cause I wanna put a team together, but also wanna feel confident in the rules and not worry about them changing up drastically.

Haven't seen it either but according to the stuff written in other threads, there are just mummies (4) and skellies. Two of the skellies are throwers and two are blitzers (we won't go into the lame magic helmet fluff). Don't know the stats but you will find them in other thread on the subject (khemri).

As I understand it the roster is:-
0-12 Skeleton
0-2 Blitz-Ra 6337 Block, Regenerate 90K (Gen, Str)
0-2 Thro-Ra 5337 Sure Hands, Pass, Regenerate 80K (Gen, Pass)
0-4 Mummy (standard stats, 110K)
Re-rolls are still 70K apiece.
I don't have any other details since I'm still waiting for the BB Mag too like most of the people on the Board!

Scrollmaster expressed an interest in taking a khemri team in our open league. I'm taking a Necro team myself.
I think they could both work out quite well. I fear for Khemri's lack of AV, I'm not sure it will balance well with having 4 slow blockers.
As for the Necros, the team might be a bit too strong but for the fact that most of the team lacks regeneration and they have no apoth.

I guess they'll have to be play-tested to find out, but personally I can't see how a team with 4 ST5 players could be balanced, despite the low speed. Moreso, each of them can use TRR's, because they aren't big guys, and don't have any of the big guy negative traits. And the rest of the team has low armor, but they all have regenerate to largely balance that out...
I guess we'll see how things go once they're tested, I know the MBBL will be using them, and Christer plans to start an X-League (experiemental) that includes them as a team.

i ve tryed Khemri with the Team Roster that people know.
4 mummys, 3 tomb guardians and the rest in squelettons and i have to say that this is not easy. The game is quite strange, this is a very particular way of playing. You are powerfull but yoiu can have 3 players out in a row and be more than fragile in 1 second. i succed managing them in friendly games but that was always close. if i remenber well i have 1 victory by 1 TD and 1 loss by 2 TD and a draw.
the thing is that only the tomb guardians were able to pick up the ball!!!
that's only 3 or 4 players (like dwarfs).
So i like this team (old Team Roster) cos it was giving something really new in the game and tactics. (and balanced).

Hmm. Playing advocate here, doesn't this imply that the current Undead roster is "a bit too strong"? After all, only 4 players lack Regenerate and the strength players are stronger.
