Names of the teams are something very curious... In a league, you still have those ones who want to have a "realistic" name (Da Deff Crushers, Gouged Eye, Reikland Reavers...), and those ones, who don't care, and take the most silly name they can find, as related here....

What about your league ?

Yeah, i agree with you DFC .. they can even be irritating. There is one player in our league coaching skaven who is just so dumb and lazy as to have named the players 'runner1', 'runner2', 'vermin' and the like ..
but others tend to surpass the limits, buying ancient GW WHF books on how to name your Dark Elf (Eje), or put real LotR & TheHobbit names after their dwarves ...

Oh, there is this guy who has named all his chaos players after alcoholic drinks too ... .. and it couldn't be a league without a undead team with dead rock star named players ..

I think well created team and player names are of utmost importance ,and this is what creates most of the unique athmosphere in bloodbowl.
Many players in our league are spoken of in awe, something that would't have happened, had they been named runner1 and runner2 .
As league commisioner , I insist on players giving appropriate names to their players.
And ,hell, how green are the balls of the incredible hulk ?

When browsing websites of fellow bloodbowlers, the first I look at is their rosters, and the names of their players.

Yes, Ancalagon .. but i didn't make it into the semifinals. Eje did on 3/1/0 and i got 2/2/0 (win/even/lost) record.

Next league we will be playing NetBowl 2.0, which is now in beta testing, and with straight BB2k1 rules, so everyone has to get to the latest rules review.

I have put online pictures of my whole team, so others can see it at the bottom link, plus NetBowl 2.0 will be using web pictures as pictures on online playing .. whould be fun!
