Blood Bowl 1988... (the blog begins)
My Oldhammer blog just turned Blood Bowl, please take a look, it's the Gouged Eye at the moment and will be for a while yet. My plan is to work through some of the classic teams from second edition in a 1980s paint style.
If anyone is interested they can be seen here:

Good stuff, thanks for posting your progress on the Gouged Eye. I thought it was interesting that Jim and Bob were two regular humans (dressed in relatively modern clothing, too) rather than a Vampire and Ogre. Your paint jobs look great; they match the era paint jobs very well.

Thanks guys, the team is finished. They'll be appearing in their first mini-tournament soon. But for now it's BB fan time on the blog...

Today's post is all about adapting second edition variants (pits traps, spiked balls, multiballs) to LRB6. Let me know what I've got wrong! http://wd-92.blogspot.co.uk/2014/09/blo ... tions.html

The only thing wrong I find in your post is your signature to the Stunty Cup that doesn't seem to work...
Now seriously, love the rules for the tourney.
That "old stuff" has so much FUN potential, I wish I'd remembered more often to have a go at stuff like that.
Anyway, sounds like you guys are gonna have a blast, so make sure you make a blog post about it!
Cheers,
Axtklinge
Edit: Those Fan snots look absolutely fantastic, congrats!

Thanks, sadly the Stunty Cup website disappeared a while back but the SC lives on as far as I can see so all's well! I've amended my signature so that your post no longer makes sense!
The second ed rules are almost ready for ther LRB6 day, I just need to find time to type them up again to take into account all of the great suggestions people have given me.
Oh, and glad you like the snots, they were very entertaining to paint! Now I want the Orc version of the miniature on which those little fellows were based...
