How to use Static Grass?

Hi:

I'm looking for a guide to use the static grass but I don't find anything usefull.

The question is:

- Use like sand: Glue some parts of the base and cover it with enough sand, and in a next stage put off the excess.
- Use like salt: Glue some parts and drop the grass into the base like "salt to a fillet".
