Suggestions for High Elf coach miniature?

Post by Ravage »

I was trying to find a suitable Elven miniature for the coach of my High Elf team but have so far come up with nothing.... after spending much time in two game stores perusing the racks for ANYTHING that might work well (and spending quite a bit of time in front of the LotR mini's and still feeling underwhelmed... i really thought I could have found good elf minis in the LotR line), I just can't find anything I feel really "fits".

Anyone have any suggestions? :D

Had a look on the G.W online store, a couple of wizards might be ok with a bit of converting but nothing really leapt out. :-?

Have you considered non G.W figures?

@madrobot: wow that really looks almost exactly like a high elf (slightly longer "tunic"/skirt hehe), helmet and all. what actual mini is that?

i really like all the shadowforge minis thad, but i think their "support staff" minis are really best suited for the teams they are made for than stealing them for another team. For some reason i just dont think it would look right having a female elf gridiron coach on the sidelines of a HE team. :)

melifaxis, those look pretty nice - thanks for the link. BTW, i saw the link in your sig: any news on future boston events? I live in hartford ct :D

The Brouhaha will happen again and Opus from RI is planning an event in February. How far are you from Harrisburg, PA?

It's one of the alternate crew members for the High Elf repeater bolt thrower. I use the loader (with arms in front of face, looking away) as my apoth. He's got a good "ewwwww, blood!!" expression.
