I agree... I like weight for my minis which is why I clue pennies to the bottoms of their bases. Adds weight and feels better. You should try that.

I agree 100%. Some of the best looking teams out there are conversions from plastics!
Not quite sure you get what red is saying chairface. I think he is pointing out the irony of people complaining about the WH look, then using that same source for their mini's.
Oh I got it. The people that complain about the 3rd edition teams are the ones who wouldn't consider painting anything but 2nd edition figs anyways. I like second edition figs, but man, theres a whole new universe out there!

i guess you all know this,

if you want weight for your plastic minis, then fix some coins under
the base. a 20 cent coin does well. or a d-mark 10 Pfennig coin is perfect.
than fill up the rest of the base with green stuff.

it´s not that much weight (ca. 5-6 gramm) but the weight is at the lowest point of the mini, so it does not fall over that fast.

it´s not how mad i am , it´s how many weight you wanna bring into da
base.
and ah yes i am mad, when it comes to build up and convert minis,
i don´t care about costs.

once i created a greater demon for my chaos dwarf army.
made of the torso and arms from a minotauer lord , head of a lamasu, legs and wings from the greater demon of khorne and a lot of greenstuff.

That was a few years ago, when it was almost impossible in germany, to
order the parts i needed. so i had to buy the boxes/blisters. :o

you don´t wanna see my bitzbox...

maybe i should take krügerrand goldcoins for the bases, it´s a lot more weight... hhhm, shit can´t fix them.. to big :P :P
