I'm with Ken on keeping the forearms and just replacing the blades with hands.

After seeing a painted version:

I just want to reiterate my vote to keep the forearms and simply sculpt hands; they match too well to remove.

Yep, I'm definetly for relpacing the hands. I think skeleton arms would look to small on this mini.

Ok, I finally got the parts together for the conversion that I wanted. I tried the fig with Skeletal arms, but they just didn't look right on him. So I used the original arms and did a hand swap. The fig is looking really good, and I was so impressed that I ordered another 3 to use as the rest of my mummies. I'm going to use some different heads to make them look unique. Pics coming eventually.

I also put together a pretty cool Throw Ra. I used this Reaper Warlord fig.

I cut his hands off. Replaced the right hand with a skeleton fist. Replaced the left hand with a skeleton archer hand, and then put the ball from the Heresy Fantasy Football Boris in it. Its a pretty convincing throwing pose and I am looking forward to painting him up.
