If you cannot stall out for an 8 turn drive to score with dwarves then you need to go and play canasta with your dad..if you can find him.

Figured I would update the thread since I've made a few changes to the pitch (more of a pitch thread than painting thread  ). So the side without the scoreboard was a little bare, so I decided to busy it up.

Until I can figure out a better wall I just used some old Mage Knight dungeon terrain. The cages on either side of the announcer's box are a couple penalty boxes since I thought it'd be silly for there to only be one, since the teams would murder each other in it.

It's just toothpicks and cardboard with a spare arm I clipped off a Mage Knight. The other one has a boot and helmet in it.

I also got Jim & Bob from Videador and painted them up referencing that official picture of them. My brother is going to script a program for me on my laptop so I can use certain soundfiles from a certain Blood Bowl game to have them commentate on the game. Should be pretty cool.

Also figured I'd need a way for Cabalvision to broadcast my game so I made a camera from, again, cardboard and toothpicks. I don't have any clay or greenstuff, so I try and make do.

I just have to finish off the snotling cameraman and the stadium officials should be done. I might make some food vendors eventually, and I have ideas for statues to decorate the corners of the pitch.

I will get a better camera, I swear it.

I did something like that using this shirt from Thinkgeek, replacing the inbuilt soundfiles with ones from the Cyanide game. It's pretty funny setting off the crowd roaring when you get a kill :D

I built the speaker into a tower on the pitch (shown here all packed up but once unpacked the remote trails around to the endzone.

Sure, man. It's not totally portable, but it will definitely make the trip.

Haha, thanks. It came out of my thinking it was too quiet whenever something happened. It really took hold when I started parking my laptop by the pitch and would play songs based on what was happened, especially during Dungeonbowl games. If someone got vaporized by the portals, I'd play "Lost in Space" by Avantasia, so I thought it'd be neat.

Very resourceful! I like the idea of building the speakers into the pitch with the tower. I'll have to figure something similar.

In build sound systems, 'live' comments, I've even seen somewhere a stadium with a 'live' game in a giant screen (pc camera + PS portable)!
How much PRO will this get?
