The GW Dark Elf BB models are ok, the 3rd edition ones are less hideous than most of the range and the 2nd edition ones look pretty nice if a bit samey. The 2nd edition star Tuern Redvenom is one of my fave models whilst Hubris is one of the worst GW ever made.

Probably the best option is using some of the great plastic from the dark elf and eldar range, I’ve seen some great conversions using those. There are rumours both GW and possibly AoW are working on multipart witches and that would be great news since those would have a lot of potential for conversions.

All the other Dark Elf fantasy football figures I’ve seen have been pretty mediocre, some have nice ideas but are poorly executed. There was some pretty awesome looking concept sketches on here a while ago, that may have been from Willy but I can’t remember exactly. I’m sure someone can find those.

We had pretty much this exact topic a week ago ;)

Careful with Willy's stuff - they can be bigger than you expect, and scaling them with your existing minis can be problematic. Lovely sculpts though, I agree.

From Dakka forums, posted by Kroothawk:
AoW: "What unit would you like to see first in plastic?"
Forum: "Witch Elves."
AoW: "Dwarves? Okay, I make Troll Slayers then. And next?"
Forum: "Witch Elves"
AoW: "More Dwarves? Okay, I start an Indigogo campaign. Anything else?"
Forum: "Witch Elves."
AoW: "Alright, I contacted Sergio to make some Chaos units. And next?"
Forum: "Nevermind!"
So yeah, rumors. ;)

Raging Heroes took the lead and made the fantasy and scifi half nude elves. Metal or resin, and not multipose, but still they did them first and sold like hot cakes. No idea how will they scale with other BB parts, but they are an option.
