Any hints towards how I paint a good white line on my static grass without it looking grubby?

Where the link points towards some good basics, it doesn't say anything about the white lines...

I thin down the white paint so that it runs easily from the brush then sort of paint the line in a series of little dabs to get the paint down to the earth as well as colour the grass.

If you get the consistency right the paint should flow nicely into the grass.

I second woodland scenics fine turf for short grass.

For lines I use masking tape to cover the base leaving just a fine gap where the line should go. Mask up loads of bases in one then spray them all with white spray. Works a charm.

Once dry, go back over the lines a bit with some more mud/grass scatter to rough them up.
