Miniature for Thrud
Thrud is back! ... atleast in our league.
Now I'm looking for a miniature. There are some easy to find choices...
Heresy Football Barbarian - a really cool looking miniature, but a little small maybe for a ST6 dude (Saw a picture comparing him to a Norse blitzer).
Willy Norse God - capturing the Thrud-look really good in my opinion. But Willy miniatures are HUGE and massive... maybe a bit too big?
Are there any other miniatures for Thrud, maybe with a size in betwenn the above mentioned?
Thanks in advance for your help!

Re: Miniature for Thrud
I used a Heresy "Dynamic Boris" and it was perfect. I just snipped the weapon off and painted it up. Looks big enough for ST6 to me (I don't expect him to be 10 feet tall or anything... Just ludicrously muscly) and the running pose is spot on.

And if you can find (or make) a nice small head, then even better.
You might be lucky and find one the the OOP Heresy Thruds - the strolling one would work with a weapons snip: http://www.collecting-citadel-miniature ... tors_Guide

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

Re: Miniature for Thrud
You know GW made a Blood Bowl Thrud
The Thrud Darkson showed is the best Thrud mini of all of course.
I have mine, but I think he's going to be expensive on eBay

Re: Miniature for Thrud
Thank you for your input, guys!
Yeah, I know of the one from GW. And as much as I am a fan of the GW miniatures for BB, the last GW Thrud I saw on Ebay was about 90 Euro... and that's just insane. Should have mentioned in my first post that I'm looking for a miniature that is not as expensive as a whole team.
@J_Bone: The dynamic Boris looks quite interesting. Would you be so kind and take a picture with a GW miniature next to it?

Re: Miniature for Thrud
I think I have that GW Thrudd around here somewhere...
Early stages of painting but I think it's a metal mini, so easy to strip.
Interested?
Unfortunately, I'm from Germany, so postage might be frightening, depending on where you are from.
And no, I wouldn't ask for 90 Euros...
Want me to look if I can find him?

Re: Miniature for Thrud
Since we're both Germans...

Re: Miniature for Thrud
I must have got lucky as I just picked this model up from eBay and he only cost £13. Considering the cost some of the others go for I think I got a bargain.Darkson wrote:And if you can find (or make) a nice small head, then even better.
