Morning chaps. I've been out of the BB loop for quite a while now and looking to make a return with a fresh new team. I've always liked humans and think the last iteration of GW models were great. Are they still available/in production? Also tempted by amazons, Orc and dwarf. Just point me at them!
I'm also really interested to see what 3rd party ones are out there but I don't even know where to start, the alternate mini scene has exploded!
Any tips for human team models in the main, with Amazon/Orc/dwarf options getting you bonus brownie points?
And while we are here, recommendations for someone to paint them? Looking for top end painters and have a budget to match.
Need suggestions for miniatures (GW or 3rd party) & painter

Re: Human team miniatures (GW or third party)
All Blood Bowl is no longer produced/available from GW.
The last set of GW humans (5th edition) had a very short run before game support ended, so they tend to fetch a particularly high price these days on e.g. ebay.
Fortunately, as you say, the third party mini scene is ever-growing, so there's plenty of alternatives out there.
Willy miniatures are popular and just released a Human team.
My personal picks for Dwarf and Amazon team are Impact's Amazons and Iron Golem's Dwarfs.
Rolljordan currently have a Kickstarter ongoing for a nice-looking Orc team.
I'd maybe recommend browsing a stockist such as http://www.comixininos.com/ or https://www.tritex-games.co.uk/ to get an idea of the style and pricing of various companies and find what suits you.
No set release date yet, but there's also a new Blood Bowl boxset on the way from GW, with new Orc and Human miniatures, and a Dwarf team also in the works.
