Thanks for the heads up! I ordered him, but I'm going to have start being more frugal. The cost for just 1 mini, plus shipping to the U.S. is almost as much as I paid for a box of Rats. With everything selling out so fast though, I didn't want to get caught empty handed once again.

He looks great but I am lucky enough to already have three versions of this guy. Used to use the original back in 3rd edition but since then I have only ever used him as an inducement once. Will pass on ordering this one.

Oof £18 pounds for 1 mini.
That's the pricing I was expecting from forgeworld sadly.

Yeah, I'm not inclined to complain about GW usually, but... geeez. That's a lot for one non-big-guy model. I have a bad feeling about the booster packs.spubbbba wrote:Oof £18 pounds for 1 mini.

Hmmm...
Just one day after the limited edition refs got removed from the store (as Danmk1 mentioned).
And if this model now also has a limited production run and gets sold out before FW has a decent selection of BB minis to be able group the orders a bit, then I think I'd solely stick to 3rd party suppliers then.
As stupid as this may now sound, but it's not just about the money (pricey, but fortunately I'm lucky enough to be able to afford this easily).
Just not sure if I want to support a company that's kind of forcing me to pay delivery cost with each expensive miniature on top of it's original price.
Doesn't make me feel like a valued customer.
Hope just bad timing this time.
But a great looking mini, I have to admit!

my understanding is that Zug is not limited edition. he is just the first of the resin FW star players.

I had been waiting to order the refs until I could combine them with something else. I had no idea they were Limited. Oh well...

Good, would have been disappointing if the star players would have been limited runs as well.
Will wait a bit ordering till I can combine Mighty Zug with some other FW BB minis.

Re: The Mighty Zug up for preorder on Forgeworld website
There's not much point in waiting to combine as Forgeworld shipping is simply a percentage of the value of the order (12% in the UK, 15% everywhere else), unless you order over £250 of stuff.Sargon wrote:I had been waiting to order the refs until I could combine them with something else. It also means there is little point in combining orders with friends unless you want to order 14 or more Zug minis.
