I voted for it, so I am not complaining. I just misinterpreted the concept sketch. My fault entirely. Depending on how much the mini is, I might still go ahead and buy it to support the team since I did vote for it. I'll just likely use a more traditional style deathroller mini for the team, as that is my personal preference for a deathroller.

We are very sorry that you don't like the model, ultimately this was an attempt to share with you a part of the team's design and our intention was that you felt yourselves proud of the miniature. :(

That said, we are working to find a good solution for everyone although we have no time and even less budget but don't worry, we're confident we can fix this :)

Thanks for your sincerity and your support.

No need to fell sorry, guys.
The word "dozer" just doesn't give the idea of a wheelbarrow but of a machine.
Just doesn't come across as very dangerous.

I still like the model, though.

wouldn't be impossible to sculpt a little engine and wheels to add on the inside of the dozer blade to make it look more like a lawnmower of doom :smoking:

Thanks guys! Pedro Ramos is working right now on a solution similar to what Norse has said. We'll keep you informed.

I feel I should give some positive feedback too.

As far as the miniature sculpt goes, it's a cracker. The plough actually looks far better than in the concept art and the slayer himself is brilliantly done. I actually like the 'blindfold' and the chains are a nice touch It's just the lack of "machine", what is there is fantastic, just needs a bit more grunt.

I am quite happy with the dozer sculpt, too. Just as I imagined and something completly differnt to other designs. In the end, you cannot make everybody happy, but everybody agrees that the overall concept is amazing. So keep up the good work! Can't wait until tomorrow!

I don't mean to complain... the sculpt is great, for sure. I just prefer my deathrollers a little more of the mechanical mayhem variety. Even if the Slayerdozer ended up not being what I expected, it's still a really great team, and I will he getting it for sure. And again, I'll probably end up getting it with Slayerdozer whether the changes work for me or not. Over all, the team is great and I am happy to support the effort. Especially since I'm hoping that this won't be Iron Golem's only 3rd ed scale team. :)

And yes! Let's see the chainsaw!

I did wonder why everyone voted for the Slayer-Dozer.
Seems an accurate sculpt of the concept art.

What were all you guys seeing in the concept art that you don't see now?

I think the idea was that he was sitting on a machine not holding the blade. From the concept it looks like he is holding onto handlebars behind the blade, I assumed so myself but I'm happy with the blade alone and plan to order the full team tomorrow as soon as it is available.

Ok, looking back at it I can see how people might have made that assumption.
Really does look like he's leaning and pushing, rather than holding handlebars though.

@Steam Ball
I've always loved that dozer pic 8)

Design by committee: producing results that everyone asks for, but no-one likes since 3500BC. :-?

I was under no misconception that there was anything mechanical behind the dozer - it's a freaking slayer people, that was the point! If it was a regular machine, it wouldn't need a slayer to drive it! Forge suit was my preference.

A ST3 slayer that becomes ST7 because he has to push something heavy around? Doesn't work for me and I'm glad Iron Golems have at least addressed the issue.
