Ah, the olden days when men were men and wax was wax.
Well, so far I have made a great green/purple colour skin/clothes combo for my Necros (paint dries two shades darker than it looks when mixed, I have discovered, but fortunately I have nothing against Hulk-green zombies), and am discovering that I have no eye or hands for details. I think I need an even finer brush than the 0/10 I'm using right now.
I'm not going to get to the wash for a few days, I figure.
Right now I'm thinking about a dark goblin green wash over the Hulk-green skin, and a dark blue wash over the purple clothes. Am I overdoing it? Would a general grey wash just have the same overall darkening effect?
I have to paint the silver chains and metal pads etc. first. I have no idea how the heck I'm going to do the hair on the Flesh Golem. Fortunately, there is a painting guru who lives close to me and is going to give me some pointers -- but I think he wants to see me stagger through the basics first myself.
