I would go for the pose as the separating factor, ie I would use blitzers (dynamic) as blitzers and linemen and blockers (static) as linemen. Never mind the extra bulk and armour of the blockers. Adds some variety. Put the blocker-linos on the LOS and the puny linos in the zones, roleplay their skillchoices, etc, etc.
Take Wood Elves for instance. What separates the WDs from the ordinary lineelf? They all wear brightly coloured spandex. It's just the attitude.
