that is amazing! love the wights, the green is really cool. and the re-rolls make it complete. a great team with conversions and the markers for turn, score and re-rolls finish it off really nicely. spectacular effort. the flesh golem is another favourite, and the dwraf zombie.
keep it up!!!

Hey Guys,
Thanks for the great feedback.. keep it coming. Sadly I cannot claim any real credit for them. Im an ideas man Im afraid.. little else. The Guys have been done for me by an extremely talented painter in Brisbane by the name of Sebastian Stuart. (Just had to check with him that I could out him so to speak ). I believe he has had some of his personal 40k Tau in White Dwarf, and was recommended to me by Ian Williams whos Orcs and Gobbos he did. Once again really appreciate any feedback as we havent varnished them yet.. so even though basically finished they are still a WIP, we both want em just right. Thanks for the wight feedback.. esp Dark Lord's, they will be worked on tonight and reposted soon. The albino wolf was my request. I know how difficult white players are so they dont look like a dodgy undercoat.. having tried and failed spectaularly to do a Kroxie.. wanted to see how a top notch painter would handle it. I think he has done a great job.. but I have had some reservations (for me there was something not quite right that I couldnt put my finger on). He is going to try to darken aspects of the wolf.. and see if that works.. pics to follow.. otherwise the timberwolf will get a brother, or maybe a grey dire wolf.
The Witch elf zombie I had originally asked for a medusa zombie.. but with all the extra conversion work to make each unique Sebastian backed off on that one, and I am happy with the idea of a vampire concubine zombie. As to the second Fleshie. Im personally happy with him.. I think in person you will find he is big enough.. to stand out as a cobbled together flesh golem compared with the zombies. I was after a WoW abomination style look. And bonehead.. the tombstones are from the zombie warhammer plastics range
Thanks heaps guys... you guys really are a supportive bunch.. cheers

Great stuff Rabid, look forward to playing them in the next Sydney tourney.
Love the alternate race Zombies... never seen that idea implemented before.
I too like the ghouls with spots but perhaps they could have been a different colour... I am thinking Liver Spots (rusty red/brown in colour).
Also, I am noting the constructive critisisms of the White wolf. I am thinking of doing my Rat Ogre as an Albino rat, so i will take note of tips / follow up feedback and pics.
Top looking squad.

Hi folks,
I'm the lad behind Rabid's team, lots of fun working out the schemes and ideas for it with him.
Been taking onboard all the critique, thanks for the photoshop work!
Anyhow, for now, here is the redone Albino. I've darkened everything several shades, for a moodier piece. I was aiming for classic Albino, but I guess in doing so made him stand out among the team too much.
Here he is, feedback very welcome;

His fur and skin is complete, the clothing needs to be readdressed after the fur repaint
Cheers all!
Seb.

The albino looks much better now, but as Xtreme pointed out the eye would benefit from being all red. It wouldn't be a true albino then, but hey we're painting fantasy miniatures. The eyes would stand out much more this way and give the miniature more character

Thanks guys, photos of the two wights and the final for the Albino coming up shortly (fangled camera needs a charge).
Anyhow, glad this variation is better suited.
I used the photoshop example as a guide for doing the wights, as this light source effect was my first ever attempt. Be good to see your reaction when I post the new pictures
