I like them, with the exception that 2/3 of them are kind of staring at the ground. If they were a taller than normal team, I could see that.

Email update from the Kickstarter campaign.Chris wrote:Where did the image come from?
Think I may grab a set of these. Anyone who backed the campaign can add to the BOGOF deal before midnight Sunday, apparently... from memory, that's 16 figs for $25 (might be wrong, it's been a while since I checked).

Good point, though I think it would be mitigated by moving the forward arms vertically up, don't think a head chop would be needed.

The first load of dreadball minis were very easy to repose - soak them in warm water for 5 minutes and then bend into shape as desired.

Many people have reported they slowly move back into position over time. I hate restic.Shteve0 wrote:The first load of dreadball minis were very easy to repose - soak them in warm water for 5 minutes and then bend into shape as desired.

Ooooh, those female models are nice, not so sure about the robots.
With a little conversion you could make those into some great looking amazon or female human teams. It’s great to see a team of tough athletes wearing “realistic” sportswear and armour rather than looking like a bunch of underwear models wandered onto the pitch.

Yes will be interesting to see how they sell compared to the neked teams that are sold. Certainly my daughter gives them the thumbs up.

Re: Dreadball Miniature Sculpts - Collated List
The painted miniatures really sell the detail on these. unpainted I dont think they stand out so well. Some great miniatures here. How robust is the plasic they are made of and do they hold up to hours of play and going in and out of storage boxes?
I havent stocked these and not really been contacted ref getting them in and stocking them but may be intetested in future. I just want to make sure I am not walking into a minefield or maybe thats part of the appeal

Yeah, pretty robust - much more elastic than GW, though you need to heat it (in water) to really see this property. Even unvarnished they hold up perfectly well against paint and material chipping (in my experience, and so far).
