I think I've managed to locate an unpainted team.

Has anyone ever ventured to convert any Slann Star Players? If you were choosing figures to go alongside these chaps, what would you choose? Silibili is quite easy. The Skinky ones are harder. Is Quetzal supposed to be a Slann himself? Just tart up a Greebo catcher frog, or do it some other way?

Looking for ideas!

What colours have you used for the armour and the line frog skin?

Waldorf, I found a couple of Gaspez blitzer frogs which I liked along side the Greebo team (most of the Gaspez frogs I dislike, but there were a couple I liked) - one had a great blitzing pose, the other looked more like he was leaping so I used him for Quetzl. I decided to use an Impact sarcos as my Silibili rather than any GW mini.

Thanks Norse. Just out of interest was it one of the blue guys or one of the green ones? I'm looking at this page here.

This guy makes a promising looking Hemlock, but I fear he might be a bit big!

Might be better with just some Skink infantry with a dagger.

I know the fluff for Slann is a bit opaque, but I wondered from the statlines about the respective intended races for Quetzl, Hemlock and Lottabotl. Hemlock looks pure Skink without Leap. Am less certain about the other two!

No, product of some legal wrangling between Greebo and Rolljordan apparently.

(IMO) Hemlock is a Skink, Quetzl & Loaabotl are Slann.

None of the 'lizardman races' have access to mutation, so I think it is safe to assume any star for the lizardman (and slann) with very long legs, especially that also has leap is a Slann. Since all Slann have leap and very long legs, it makes far more sense that the two stars with those two skills are also Slann, rather than being a mutated skink or saurus, who don't have mutation access.

So yeah, find some frogs you like and make them stars :orc:

I used attacante 1 and 3.. the pose for 3 is actually better than it looks in the picture, kind of like a superman punch type thing...

The armour is the old base purple (Hormagaunt Purple) highlighted with progressive purple+white mixes, and the skins are green (Knarloc Green), orange (Macharius Solar Orange), and brown (Snakebite Leather), all done the same way (white+colour, layered lighter and thinner).

I have assembled my team.

Managed to get the whole 17 from a retailer in Sweden.

Have gone for Comixinos on Hemlock, Sibli and Helmut.

Will post pics when they are done.

Looks mint. Great Paintwork and cool looking miniatures. Takes some skill to coach Slaan too.
