Another update

We carved out about half of the wall sections and made a start with the floor tiles.
Also started basecoating the first parts of the construction.









The next few days will be spent carving out more of the same. The both of us already look forward to the moment where we can start painting and adding detail.

I also got hold of a large amount of clear epoxy to fill the sewers with.

Are you going to fill it to the same level than the centre? Will the squares be marked, or just using the bottom as reference?

I'll make markings un the tiles underneath the epoxy and use that as reference. Will only fill up to about 1/8" of epoxy though, so there will still be a height difference between the water surface and the raised center bit of the field. About 1/4" of an inch even.

If I wanted to fill up the whole difference (3/8th") I would need about a gallon of epoxy. More then I would be comfortable with for various reasons.

Still working on this one. The single bricks were all carved out, base coat applied and we're now painting the individual bricks and floor tiles.

Oh yes! The dog is a movable obstacle and does not need to be included in all games. It's like a special play card a bit as in it shows up when you least expect it to

That pitch is really awesome. Makes me want to create a skaven team, just to be able to copy your work!

I just started with the first bits of weathering. Right now it's too dark to make a photograph of the process but I'll post an update soon.

PS: The idea for this field came from my girlfriend. She thought my Skaven teams would look great on a sewer style gaming field
