Fantastic work Del, great conversion work and your usual excellent painting....

not sure about the paint scheme though....

and the fact this did not shortlist is the biggest travesty since the Grinderz didn't place at last year's BB....

the judges at GW are all wankles... that must go some way to explaining their blindness if nothing else....

they did shortlist in the final 9 teams to choose from

it was the painting points that his opponents gave out that let him down

The whole idea of the opponant giving the painting points is just stupid as some wankle could deliberately mark you down to keep your points down. I think they should just have a few judges standing by on sat morning and ask to see everyone's minis as the register and mark them there (much more objective).

As Thadrin pointed out earlier, we got burned on the painting because of the game we dropped on Sun morning. Kinda ridiculous that 2 of the 10 teams selected for the shortlist recieved less than full marks for painting, esp since we had to hand in result slips anyway (to avoid 'screwing' up the scoring system...lol!

).
Just as well we couldn't really care less about final standings, can't believe some people are anxiously waiting to see where they finished!

Better still, forget about points for, painting, sportsmanship, fluff.

Sportsmanship isn't the issue. Bad sportsmanship is an issue. Have a crapy GW certificate for that so we can all "boo" and jeer and throw rotting veg at the w'ker as he goes to collect his award.
