Hi there everybody!
I'm a newcomer to this board, but I've been playing GW-related games for the past 14 years or so. Last year I took up BB again, and I've been playing quite a lot since then ... also spent some time on FUMBBL, but I got tired of people destroying the fun parts of the game

Well, 'nuff said. I would very much like to enter a mini into the competition, and would just like to ask if it would be okay to enter conversions made for BB-teams - mini's from other ranges that is. I thought it would be okay if it's clear that the mini was made for BB, but I just wanted to make sure :D

Over and out

Daniel

Ohh, and happy new year to you all!

hi daniel, welcome to the boards.

well as this one is an open tourney then i don't see a problem. the figure can be from any manufacturer whatsoever and as long as it looks as though it'll fit in with a blood bowl team then conversions and customisations are more than welcome. the more different variations of players that we have the better it'll be.

so to answer your question. yeah to any figure you want. yeah to conversions and whatnot. just paint up something and send me the pictures.

more details will be on the first post in due time (like where to send the pictures and the website address to see the entrants, register votes etc.

Well happy Holidays all and glad to see TBB back up. I will certainly be entering the comp again. Right now "trying" to finish up a Pro Elf/Dark elf team for the TKC II and this will help motivate me.

I hadn't even thought about such a thing before, but now that it's been brought up... why not keep things "players only" for now, and then we can have "support staff" be one of the themes in the future?

I agree with the "as yet unseen" rule idea.

Great! I'll try to finish a mini then ... but as you all know, one works harder if the deadline is in 2 hours

i was thinking players rather than support staff for this one, but then i never really gave support staff a proper think. if there's a call for it then i'll make it one of the paintoff's in the future, but for now i think we should try and it to just players.

I have two possibilities.
One of them is done. I'll have it with me to the Dutch...so it won't be unseen per se, but it is newly done.

The other is base coloured (and, at the moment, looking crap. It should improve as I take the edge off the colours though.)

We'll see. I'm in the middle of my "how fast can a usable team be painted, while attempting to watch all three extended edition Lord of the Rings films in one sitting" experiment.
