what models are you going to use as chaos warriors?

I went with the beastlord, one charoteer and two mordheim beastmen (champion and shaman).

Hey Grots, I used similar minis too, used the beastlord and charioteer, but used the Khorigor Chanmpion (I think) and Kharak (??) the One-eye (I'm sure you know who I mean).

We have managed to get our league here in Vancouver up and running again and i have obtained 4 of the new Warriors for my team. Some have been converted a bit and were primered last night. Also added a few more beastmen to the team and all will get their first coats of paint hopefully tomorrow.... including the minotaur!

My medic will be getting some quality attention as well.

It has been a while since the league had the last season but the distractions look to be behind us now and we are looking forward to expanding the league.

If there are any players in the area interested in playing in the RainCity BBL, contact me or Sallacious in a PM.

Hello Odin..

PLZ DO show us some picz as soon as possible, I would be extremely glad if you did so!! :D

-I, as earlier mentioned, went out monday morning and bought the wh-beast-box and have currently finished the cut-and-paste part of 9 gors, including one of which I converted in sort of a mid-air-game-winning-TD pose to get some variety!
..Now to the painting part.. ..guess It'll take me forever, oh well.. better get to it then!

-Sending people your way with my Awesome tag.. hope you don't mind!?

Odin wrote:Not only is it for blending in purposes, but the main reason is the lush grass look of our custom pitches has no dirt on the field. We found in the past that if our custom pitches had dirt patches, it would eat away at our paintwork everytime a player was knocked down. Because of this, our leagues fields are very grassy, to protect our paint. The grass base edges just make a more seamless transition from player to pitch.
Do you have any pictures of the pitches that you have built? I am trying to amass as many research photos of different custom built pitches for my tournament - "The Challenge of Q'ermitt" this will be held in Toronto next March. In this tournament we will have 9 special custom pitches built representing different geographical regions. I have seen a lot of different pitches out there, and feel inspired by each one!

And for the record - I like all the grass on the base! Looks great!

Wow! I didn't think that the new Chaos warriors would be good for BB but you've proved me wrong! Nice job so far!

The helm on that Chaos Warrior is enough on its own to floor me.

But the whole mini... that's spectacular.

So's the whole team, really.

I hope you don't mind, but I think I'll borrow that idea for a helm in the future... when (if!) I have the time to do it.

Hi Odin,
absolutely awesome! :D

Not to rain on your parade, but I never liked capes in Blood Bowl. That goes for the official Count Luthor miniature too. I mean, run around on the pitch with a cape fluttering behind you, and sooner or later somebody is going to grab it, and choke you in the process.

BTW Odin,
I'm curious. How much time does it take for you to paint a miniature to that quality?
I spend 1.5 hours on a miniature, and it looks nothing like your amazing work.
Cheers

Yea, that guy really sux!!! hehe... just kidding bro. He looks great.. but I really hate him. A ST5/AG4 chaos warrior is sick. He will die... if not tonight, then next season for sure.

Good job... now finish the other 3!!!
