are they plactics or metal minis? :) just the drunkdwarves photos look like the minis are going to be plastic :)
They look like that because they've been cast in resin as testers befor they cast them in metal.
are you sure their will be in metal?
For £30 I bloody hope so!

AFAIK every mini is a unique pose. So there are 4 blitzer poses.
Glad to hear it. Having just seen the advert in the UK WD it did seem a bit strange that there would be four unique Catchers but only three Blitzers.

The short answer is "no", but it is a qualified "no" because there are odd ways of interpreting the question which could justify the answer "yes".

Now what I'm wondering is, will there be a new halfling team?

Don't count on it. Halflings aren't high on the list to be redone and with the state of Fanatic's resources (or lack thereof) it's difficult to say if or when we will get anymore new teams after the schedualed release of the new dwarf team sometime next year. Originally, all teams were going to be redone with a release every nine months (and releases of individual minis such as SPs, cheerleaders, etc happening inbetween), but now that Fanatic has been cut way down to basically 3 people working for it, who knows how many new releases we're going to get in the future (not too many). Before Fanatic went down, there was supposed to be a new skaven team in the works, so if/when there's going to be another team released in the future (after next year's dwarf team), it will probably be a skaven team. I think a new CD team is needed more than a new halfling team, those WFB inspired big hats have to go!

Just what I needed...another Dwarf team...
At least I have a couple of potential colour schemes ready-trialled as part of an ongoing project.

When I take over the world, I will see to it that Fanatic makes a lot of new teams.

Not trying to be funny or anything but i'm really disappointed with the look of the new team, based on all the hype that went on around them over the past year i was expecting something a bit special.

What we seem to have is a half way house between the last metal team and the old second ed ones.

Except the second ed ones look better.

I've no appreciation of what makes my car run but if it doesn't run i'm still pi$$ed off with it.

However that is just my 20 pence and everyones entitled to their own opinion, perhaps my expectations were just too high after waiting for them for the best part of a year.

Well, you may have noticed already but they seem to be up on the UK and US mail order sites:

http://store.us.games-workshop.com/stor ... &GameNav=9

Although I am somewhat puzzled by the description...

"The Human Blood Bowl Team boxed set contains sixteen (16) metal human Blood Bowl players including three (3) Blitzers, four (4) Catchers, seven (7) Linemen, two (2) Catchers, and two (2) spiked balls."

So three blitzers and six catchers eh? Not really what I wanted I think...

I recognize 4 catchers and 2 throwers easily ..

the blitzes are .. I think .. third row last two figs and 2nd row the last one ..

thus 3 blitzers, not four
