Here we go.

It was real fun pinning and filing and cutting and drilling plasticard pieces only a few millimeters long. Thanks Norse. Thanks a bunch :D :D

Looks great. I know I'm late to the discussion, but I agree claw was the way to go over ball & the full hand is much better than the lone thumb.

Nice work!

I should have also added that I really want to find some of those 'slug' bodies for CD bull centaurs. I like them a gazillon times better then any 4-legged kind. Great choice.

Thanks people. I'm waiting for the greystuff to harden, then chuck them in the dishwasher, and then they're off to the painter. Here's his coolminiornot portfolio... Excellent style in my opinion, total contrast to my own.

(link removed... doesn't work for some reason anymore)

Apples, oranges :) Sadly I can't paint all the teams myself (I'm just guessing, but by the time the underworld team is finished, I will have spent around 150 to 200 hours on conversions and painting), and his rates were such an incredible bargain, I couldn't pass it by.

I usually wash my minis before priming them. Especially if I've handled them for hours and hours. Dishwasher is the easiest and quickest way. :D

I guess it's a good way to determine if they will survive hours of being played with in advance...

I'd be worried little bits of metal would disappear, not only ruining my mini, but also my dishwasher!

Looking superb, though I would also be nervous. I get the logic for single piece models, but conversions this intricate?

I always do it. Every piece is pinned in place, so I'm not really worried about it, nothing has ever come loose. It's not like I'm putting them in the washing machine :D

I might change the topic altogether.. There hasn't been much stuff for the underworld lately :-?

Here are my replacements for the Franarcilla warriors I originally had. Didn't really care for them. These on the other hand are brilliant. Very nice sculpts. Pretty simple conversions, cutting and filing off extra bits, changing hands and some small stuff.
